Q: What Greenwipes® GW6000 LIGHT made of?  

A: Greenwipes® GW6000 Light is made of 70% wood pulp and 30% polypropylene. It has a high percentage of plant-based material and therefore is a greener option. 

Q: What is Aquaknitify™?  

A: AquaKnitify is RPD’s proprietary process that first converts recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles to create a POLYESTER YARN. This yarn is then fused with a layer of cellulose (paper) using only water jet pressure to create a polyester-paper hybrid product that is ‘strong as cloth, absorbent as paper’.’ 

Q: Do you have the documents to prove that this product is FDA approved? As a business owner, why do I need a wipes that are FDA approved food safe? 

A: Yes. Proof of product safety is available upon request. 

To be FDA compliant, a cleaning material must be deemed ‘food safe’. This means that it does not contain health hazards like heavy metals and does not leech chemicals when used in food preparation environment. This assures the safety of any products that you produce.  

A food safe wipe is not just important in food production. Q: Can I use Greenwipes® GW6000 LIGHT with strong chemicals like Acetone and Isopropyl Alcohol? 

A: Yes. Greenwipes® GW6000 Light is manufactured without any chemical binders using our proprietary Aquaknitify™ Technoloy. This means that the wiper is only woven entirely out of high-pressure water jets. Therefore, the material does not dissolve or leech chemicals onto surfaces when used with strong cleaning chemicals such as IPA and Acetone. 

Q: What else can I use Greenwipes® GW6000 LIGHT for? 

Greenwipes® GW6000 Light is highly versatile and economical. You can use it to clean any surface or dirt. It is excellent for cleaning dusts, debris, oil and liquids. And because it is FDA Approved Safe for Food Contact Surfaces and low linting, it is more hygienic to be used on a food processing equipment, food preparation surfaces, tableware, glassware and more. 

This lightweight wiping material is great to fit into small gaps and crevices in between machines for more efficient cleaning. 

Greenwipes® GW6000 Light does not have to be used only as a dry wipe. It can also be used with cleaning solutions and disinfectants for a deeper clean. It is also soft and gentle on skin and can be used with mild soap to clean patients’ skin in the healthcare industry.
